A92PY76 Annual Salary: €30,763.20 Employment type: full-time permanent Hours : 40 per week Job title: Healthcare Assistant About the Role: Hibernia Nursing Home Group are recruiting 10 healthcare assistants for one of their nursing homes (Saint Ursulas Nursing home ) to assist the nursing staff in delivering the highest standard of personal and clinical care to our elderly residents. Duties: As a healthcare assistant in our nursing home you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high quality of care . You will Perform duties that have been assigned by the Director of Nursing Responsibilities of a healthcare assistant: Provide a high level of care to all patients. Carry out tasks as directed by the staff nurses and clinical nurse manager. Communicate with residents and their families. Provide emotional support for residents. Assist residents with their personal care and activities of daily living. Support staff and ensure that families and visitors of the nursing home are attended to with consideration. Requirements of a Healthcare Assistant. QQI Level 5 certificate or equivalent Excellent communication skills Previous experience working in healthcare (home care, nursing homes etc)
