Meat Processing Operatives will be to work as a member of the operations team in the factory and complete tasks assigned by their manager or supervisor. They will have significant responsibilities in various areas, including production, storage, cleaning, Health & Safety, and other duties as instructed by management. The job entails meeting challenging production targets. Moreover, working for extended periods in cold or chilled environments may be required. Primary Responsibilities=> Undertake various tasks in the production area, including line operation, packing, cleaning, distribution, and more. Familiarize yourself with the daily production plan and work with the team to set up the line, conduct checks, and ensure materials are ready for use. Conduct all pre-start, hygiene, and safety checks as directed. Notify the Line Supervisor of any equipment breakages, damages, or defaults, and ensure machinery is only used when safe to do so. Record checks as instructed. Ensure that the product meets the highest standards and report any issues to the Line Supervisor immediately. Fully participate in all company training, asking questions and ensuring satisfaction with all aspects of the area and role. => Other duties may be assigned by your direct Line Supervisor from time to time.
