Employer: Oxigen Environmental Job Title: HGV Mechanic BG Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of Oxigen Environmental for a HGV Mechanic. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, diagnosis, and repair of heavy goods vehicles and associated systems, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest safety standards and remain fully roadworthy and compliant with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections of HGVs, trailers, and associated equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment Repair and replace engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems Maintain accurate service and repair records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements Use hand tools, power tools, and specialist diagnostic equipment safely and effectively Assist with roadside breakdowns and emergency repairs when required Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience relevant to the role is required Salary: €36,605 Hours per week: 39 Location: Oxigen Environmental, Bally Duff business park, Tullamore, Co Offaly, R35R5XO Please send your CV: jobs@bgrecruitment.ie
