Our client, Marcin & Piotr Motors Santry Limited t/a MP Motors, based in Co. Dublin, is currently seeking Car Mechanics for immediate start for their facility in Santry, Co. Dublin. 



Duties & Responsibilities

-	Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and test drives.
-	Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, tyre repairs, alignments, and fluid checks.
-	Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension, exhaust systems, and other mechanical components.
-	Inspect vehicles for faults, wear, and potential issues, providing accurate repair recommendations.
-	Complete service and repair records accurately and in line with company procedures.
-	Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards and meets safety and compliance requirements.
-	Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding necessary repairs and timelines.
-	Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop area.
-	Keep up to date with new vehicle technologies, diagnostic methods, and repair procedures.



Requirements & Experience 
-	Candidate must be competent to carry out all duties listed above 
-	Minimum 3 years of previous experience working as a mechanic 
-	Mechanic/motor technician qualification is an advantage but is not required
-	Proven experience working as a car mechanic or vehicle technician.
-	Experience working in a garage and with fleet of vehicles 
-	Knowledge of vehicle electronics and diagnostics
-	Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
-	Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
-	Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-	Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-	Strong communication and customer service skills.
-	Commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.



Annual Remuneration: €34,000.00; Pay rate €16.77 per hour
