The BIM Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, managing, and assuring the quality of Building Information Modelling (BIM) outputs across assigned projects. The role acts as the key interface between project teams, designers, engineers, and internal production functions to ensure BIM models are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project and company standards.

The role involves reviewing and coordinating BIM models, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, project requirements, and internal design protocols. The BIM Coordinator supports clash detection, model validation, and issue resolution, working closely with BIM technicians and project stakeholders to maintain programme and quality objectives.

The position also plays a key role in managing workflows, allocating tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring deliverables are issued in line with agreed timelines. The BIM Coordinator provides technical guidance, mentoring, and quality oversight to team members, supporting skills development and consistency across outputs.

In addition, the role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, including the development and refinement of BIM standards, templates, and processes. Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills are essential, as the role requires regular engagement with internal teams and external partners to support efficient, accurate, and commercially aligned project delivery.
