First Year Apprentice Vacancy
First Year Apprentice HGV Mechanic for immediate start.
Kinahan Commercials Ltd. is a Mercedes-Benz Dealer based in Moate, Co. Westmeath.
This is a great opportunity for a school leaver who wishes to pursue a career in a fast moving industry. Full Solas Training along with Mercedes-Benz Training.
What does a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic do?
As a heavy vehicle mechanic, you will carry out routine servicing and repair on commercial vehicles such as trucks, vans, trailers, jeeps, buses and coaches.
Your work will involve servicing, diagnostics and repairs. As well as routine servicing, major overhauls are undertaken at regular intervals. Faults are diagnosed and you will repair or replace the defective components as necessary.
You will manage the mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic aspects of the vehicle.
