Murphy Machinery (Kilkenny) Limited, Dublin Road, Co. Kilkenny, Kilkenny, R95 W250, Ireland. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team. the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues Diagnose problems using modern diagnostic tools and techniques Perform repairs and replace faulty parts as necessary Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance Test vehicle systems and components to ensure proper functionality Maintain accurate records of services and repairs Communicate effectively with customers and supervisors regarding repairs, timelines, and recommendations Requirements: Proven experience as a motor mechanic or in a similar role Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and components Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication skills in dealing with both customers and team members.
