We are currently seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Mechanic with proven experience working on vans and lorries. The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, and capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles. This is a full-time position based in Laghey, Co. Donegal.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vans and lorries.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
Carry out inspections and pre-NCT/DOE checks.
Work independently and manage time effectively.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Complete job cards and reports accurately.
Requirements:

Fully qualified motor mechanic with relevant certification.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in diagnostics and working with vans and lorries (HGV experience preferred).
Full clean Irish driving licence.
Strong oral and written English communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Valid and up-to-date work permit to work in Ireland (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with commercial vehicle maintenance and fleet servicing.
Knowledge of modern diagnostic tools and systems.
Ability to commute reliably to Laghey or relocate if necessary.
