As demand grows, we’re expanding our team with a dedicated Site Surveyor who will play a key role in delivering high‑quality installations.
 Role Overview
The Site Surveyor is responsible for visiting customer locations to assess installation requirements, take accurate measurements, evaluate structural conditions, and provide technical guidance to ensure each project is completed safely and to the highest standard. This role is essential in bridging the gap between sales, manufacturing, and installation teams.
 Key Responsibilities
Conduct on‑site surveys for awnings, canopies, pergolas, and shading systems.
Take precise measurements and record all relevant site details.
Assess structural suitability, mounting surfaces, and potential installation challenges.
Provide technical recommendations to the sales and installation teams.
Produce clear survey reports, drawings, and measurement notes.
Liaise with customers to explain installation requirements and answer technical questions.
Ensure all surveys comply with safety standards and company procedures.
Work closely with project managers to ensure smooth scheduling and installation planning.
Identify any additional materials, brackets, or custom fabrication needs.
Maintain a professional and customer‑focused approach at all times.
 Skills & Experience
Previous experience in site surveying, carpentry, construction, or a similar technical field.
Strong measurement and spatial awareness skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Comfortable using ladders, tools, and basic surveying equipment.
Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Full clean driving licence (required).
Experience with awnings or outdoor structures is an advantage but not essential.
