Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our Sligo retail outlet. The successful candidate will manage staff, ensure operational efficiency, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive sales performance while upholding company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily store operations and coordinate staff schedules.
Manage inventory, stock orders, and supplier relationships.
Implement effective merchandising and promotional strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve escalated issues.
Monitor sales performance and prepare performance reports.
Support management with budgeting and cost-control measures.
Manage POS and in-store systems and act as the escalation point for IT/system issues.
Qualifications & Skills
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field (required).
At least 2 years’ experience in retail management or operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability and customer-focused approach.
Competence in POS systems and basic financial reporting preferred.
