Job description

You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of carpentry techniques, be detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.

Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, flooring, and trim, using hand and power tools.

Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

Select and order materials, and maintain an organized inventory of supplies.

Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

Inspect work to ensure conformity to specifications and industry standards.

Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Carpenter.

Solid understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Proficient in using hand and power tools.

Physical fitness and stamina for manual labor.

Attention to detail and precision.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
