Warmblood Studbook of Ireland seeks a Data Entry Specialist to record equine pedigree and related ownership and other data into our Studbook database and information system. Experience using desktop computers, attention to detail, accuracy, ability to work in a high-performing international team, and a commitment to privacy, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance are required for this position. Fluency in German, Dutch, French or Spanish is desirable but not required. While a knowledge of and interest in warmblood sport horses is highly desirable, the ability to manage data accurately is the primary requirement of the position. Training in the use of WSI’s database and information system will be provided on an ongoing basis. Opportunities exist for additional training in studbook administration that will lead to broader opportunities. An initial 3-month contract will be offered during a probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, an additional probationary contract or a one-year contract will be offered. Opportunities exist for a permanent contract following the one-year contract or in the case of a highly experienced individual. Due to the nature of the work, working from home is not an option.
