We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef with proven experience in Brazilian pastry and desserts to join our team at Cake By Passion, Gort, Co. Galway. The ideal candidate will be creative, organized, and capable of producing high-quality baked goods that reflect the authenticity and richness of Brazilian flavors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a wide range of high-quality pastries, breads, cakes, and traditional Brazilian desserts (e.g. brigadeiros, pão de queijo, quindim, tortas geladas, salgados assados e fritos).
Develop and maintain recipes that reflect Brazilian culinary heritage, while also contributing to the seasonal menu and product innovation.
Monitor and control ingredient inventory and ensure efficient stock management.
Guarantee consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all products.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in accordance with HACCP.
Train and guide junior pastry staff when needed.
Work under pressure to meet production schedules and customer demands.
