Warehouse Manager required to work for Arlaco Ltd at Unit 5, Kilmallock Business Park, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, V35 CY89, Ireland. Must have at least 1 year’ experience in warehouse or logistics. In this role, the main responsibilities involve liaising closely with production, maintenance, sales, and other departments to assess the materials and resources needed for both current and upcoming production schedules, as well as to fulfil sales commitments. The role requires reviewing, developing, and implementing stock control, handling, and distribution policies to maximise the efficient use of warehouse space, financial resources, labour, and other assets. Advising the purchasing team on the type, quality, and quantity of goods required, along with setting deadlines for their availability, is also a key aspect. Additionally, preparing expenditure reports and providing recommendations on materials standardisation and future stock control policies form a critical part of this position. Decisions on appropriate storage conditions for specific items, effective allocation of warehouse space, and arranging regular stock inspections to identify any signs of deterioration or damage.
