Roscommon, F45XT27 Description: Health Care Assistant role These positions are Full time, permanent, and based on a 39-hour week. Annual Salary: €32,691 Hourly Salary: €16.11 Direct Patient Care Responsibilities: Provide direct personal care to patients, including bed washes, showers, or baths as required. Make and change beds as necessary. Assist patients/residents with dressing and personal care needs. Safely lift, move, turn, and reposition patients using appropriate equipment at all times. Assist patients in toilets, on commodes, and in bathrooms, ensuring appropriate hygiene, comfort, and dignity. We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our team at Oakwood Nursing Home. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Healthcare Assistants to become active members of a dedicated and supportive multidisciplinary team. Person Specification: The successful candidate will have completed a QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Healthcare or equivalent and will have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Healthcare Assistant.
