Our client, Marcin & Piotr Motors Santry Limited t/a MP Motors, based in Co. Dublin, is currently seeking Car Mechanics for immediate start for their facility in Santry, Co. Dublin. 



Duties & Responsibilities

	Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and test drives.
	Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, tyre repairs, alignments, and fluid checks.
	Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension, exhaust systems, and other mechanical components.
	Inspect vehicles for faults, wear, and potential issues, providing accurate repair recommendations.
	Complete service and repair records accurately and in line with company procedures.
	Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards and meets safety and compliance requirements.
	Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding necessary repairs and timelines.
	Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop area.
	Keep up to date with new vehicle technologies, diagnostic methods, and repair procedures.



Requirements & Experience 
	Candidate must be competent to carry out all duties listed above 
	Minimum 3 years of previous experience working as a mechanic 
	Mechanic/motor technician qualification is an advantage but is not required
	Proven experience working as a car mechanic or vehicle technician.
	Experience working in a garage and with fleet of vehicles 
	Knowledge of vehicle electronics and diagnostics
	Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
	Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
	Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
	Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
	Strong communication and customer service skills.
	Commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.



Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour
