Mainline is growing fast and are currently looking to hire electricians to work on exciting multi-disciplinary, substation and framework projects. The role presents a great opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking for people who will embrace the opportunity and progress with the business as it grows. We will also support and develop our electricians in the process to become PICW’s which represents a great learning opportunity.

Your new role:
You will be part of an experienced project delivery team working on substations and ESB Framework projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.
Work closely with the site management on such duties as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering equipment.
Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Diagnose systems, equipment, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of faults.
Connect cables to circuit breakers, transformers, CT/VT or other components.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications.
Oversee the assembly, install, and test, of electrical equipment and components. 

Qualifications, Skills, Attributes and Experience:
Qualified Electrician
Substation experience is essential
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Excellent organisational skills.
Safepass
Experience of working on ESB sites would be an advantage.
MV/HV Knowledge would be an advantage
