Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Working as part of a team, you will assist us in keeping our GAA pitches in Bettystown and Laytown to a high standard of maintenance. Duties: - Work to a weekly schedule agreed with CE Supervisor - Cut grass on pitches and sidelines - Line and mark pitches - Prepare grounds for matches and training including putting out flags - Strim banks and maintain hedging - Astro pitch sweeping - Minor goalpost repairs - Litter picking and weeding - Car park stewarding during matches - Safe use and storage of all tools and equipment - Keep containers and lock ups clean and tidy Full training provided. An interest in the GAA and gaelic games an advantage but not essential. Participants need to be flexible and willing to learn. This is a varied role, involving outdoor work all year round.
