Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Working with Tidy Town and other groups the successful candidate will have responsibiity for maintaining public areas, keeping grass cut and the area litter free.  Other responsibilities may include keeping road signs clean, emptying litter bins, ensuring pathways are free from weeds,  that hedge trimming are collected and disposed of in a responsible manner.  Candidates will also be involved in tasks such as flower planting, watering and maintaining them during the Summer months and general maintenance of the plants in the areas as specified.  Candidate will also be responsible for the safe use and feneral maintenance of all equipment.  A full driving licence will be required if you will be using the  mower on the public road.
