The ideal candidate will be a podcast fan, with an understanding of the industry, and have experience in audio/video production. As the role will have a strong video editing component, a background in planning, recording, and editing video projects from recording to distribution is essential.

Because the role involves creating original content for businesses and organisations, knowledge of, and experience in producing content in line with the brand is key. We’re also seeking an individual who has experience collaborating with clients. The role involves producing content for all major audio and video platforms and an understanding of the differences between, and requirements of, each platform is very important. As a Video Editor/Producer, you will be responsible for:
Working with clients to craft recorded content into seamless segments and episodes for various platforms.
Handling and setting up video and audio equipment to create the best results to meet the client goals, from full-length video podcast episodes to promotional social clips.
Recording and producing sessions in the studio, online and remotely.
Editing and mixing client shows recorded in the studio, online, and remotely to the specifications of multiple platforms.
Distributing audio and video outputs per show specifications.
Curating on-brand licensed music.
Managing and developing client relationships.
Managing delivery timelines.
Pitching, developing, refining, and rebranding podcasts.
Conducting research and assembling prep notes.
Setting up and distributing shows to several platforms and analysing viewership/listener numbers.
Liaising with the wider team on production, editing, show launches, and more.


Essential Experience
Relevant degree
Production experience: television, radio, independent podcasting, and/or freelance production work. Preferably some live production experience.
2+ years’ experience in video production and editing.
Fluency in audio editing software: Adobe Creative Suite, i.e., Audition, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, etc.; Cubase, iZotopeRX, Descript, Riverside, Squadcast, OBS. 
Experience developing concepts with clients from inception to release.
Experience with client and project management.
Experience with CMS and content distribution platforms.
Background in research and writing, including prep notes and blog posts.
Knowledge of the industry, trends, and opportunities in Ireland and abroad.
Flexible and eager to learn new relevant skills.
PC literacy (Competent in MS Office/Google Docs)
A motivated self-starter approach to your work.
