Car Mechanic Employer Name: Liam Fitzpatrick Tyres Location: New Road, Portlaoise, Laois, R32 RF88 Associated Company: Fitzpatrick Tyre And Battery Limited Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Weekly Hours: 39 hours per week Annual Salary: €36,605 Number of Position: One Duties to include - Diagnose, repair, and maintain all types of vehicles to manufacturer standards Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and quality checks on vehicles Replace faulty parts and ensure all work complies with safety regulations In addition to mechanical duties, provide support to other garage teams and assist with related tasks within their capacity (e.g., parts handling, vehicle preparation, warehouse support as operational needs require) Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and parts used Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all work areas Qualifications and Requirements - Proven experience as a Car Mechanic or in a similar automotive role Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures Ability to adapt to varying operational demands and support cross-functional teams Applicants must have a good command of the English language.
