Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

The position will be in LSSC, Henry Street, Limerick. The aim of the programme is to provide you with the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the area of childcare while gaining experience working in a compliant Childcare Service.
Duties will include the supervision of children indoors, outdoors and in sleeping rooms. 
To assist in the preparation and implementation of developmentally appropriately activities for the children in your care. Interact positively with the children and the rest of the childcare team.
