Job Title: Mechanical Fitter (5 Positions) Employer: Padraig Thornton Waste Disposal Ltd t/a Thorntons Recycling, Ireland Salary: €36,605 per year Hours: 39 hours per week Location: Thorntons Recycling, Killeen Road, Dublin 10, Ireland, D10 VN88 Description: BG Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Padraig Thornton Waste Disposal Limited t/a Thorntons Recycling for 5xMechanical Fitters. Role Overview: The successful candidates will be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and components across the company’s operations, ensuring all machinery is maintained to a high operational and safety standard. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble and fit mechanical parts, systems, and components in line with technical specifications Align, level, and adjust machinery and mechanical equipment Carry out routine maintenance and repair of plant and equipment Diagnose faults and perform mechanical adjustments and replacements as required Work with hydraulic systems, including maintenance and basic fault-finding Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations Requirements: Qualifications/Certificates related to the role are required Please send your CV: jobs@bgrecruitment.ie
