We are now seeking a Registered Veterinary Surgeon with 2–3 years’ experience to join our friendly, skilled, and supportive team of vets, nurses, and care staff.
Village Vets Dunshaughlin has been at the heart of our community since 1980, when Karl Cosgrave first opened the doors of our practice. Following a full renovation in 2022, our clinic is a modern, spacious, and well-equipped environment designed to deliver the highest standard of veterinary care.

Our state-of-the-art Dunshaughlin clinic includes:
Three large consultation rooms
Separate cat and dog wards
Dedicated diagnostic imaging suite with dental X-ray
Spacious, modern reception area
A strong commitment to fear-free handling and patient comfort
We pride ourselves on maintaining exceptionally high clinical standards and are fully equipped with advanced surgical, diagnostic, and medical facilities.

We are seeking someone who is:
A qualified, registered Veterinary Surgeon (VCI)
Experienced in small animal practice (2–3 years)
Motivated, reliable, and dedicated to high-quality patient care
A strong communicator and genuine team player
Keen to continue learning—further education and CPD are actively supported and encouraged
Your Role
As a Veterinary Surgeon at Village Vets, you will:
Deliver veterinary care in line with the standards of Village Vets and the Veterinary Council of Ireland
Provide excellent medical, surgical, and client-facing services
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive team environment
Assist in the efficient running of the clinic as directed by the Lead Vet or Regional Director
