Catering Supervisor – Healthcare & Canteen Catering | Dublin 4

We are recruiting a Catering Supervisor to work in a healthcare kitchen and canteen environment in Dublin 4. This is a temporary role (3–6 months) offering full-time hours and early shifts in a structured healthcare setting.

The role involves supervising daily catering operations and supporting catering staff to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality food service.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen and canteen operations, supporting staff performance and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. The role involves working closely with site management to ensure smooth and reliable service delivery.

Main Duties

Supervise daily kitchen and canteen operations
Lead and support catering staff
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards
Monitor food preparation, service flow and presentation
Assist with menu planning, stock control and cost management
Maintain records and support audits and inspections
Liaise with site management to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements

Qualification in Catering or Hospitality Management (Level 7 desirable)
Previous supervisory experience in catering or hospitality
Strong knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene practices
Legal right to work in Ireland
Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.
International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16
