We are seeking skilled MIG/MAG Welders to join our team at Lampost Construction Components Ltd., at  Greenore, Louth, Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks using  MAG (Metal Active Gas) processes to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts and structures according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
	Perform welding operations using  MAG techniques on a Steel Structures. 3-8mm Butt Welds, 3-25mm Fillet welds 
	Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
	Prepare, set up, and maintain welding equipment, tools, and materials.
	Ensure all welds meet required specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
	Inspect and test welded surfaces/structures for accuracy, defects, and strength.
	Carry out grinding, finishing, and polishing of welded joints when required.
	Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety procedures.
	Report any equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
	Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
	Proven experience as a MAG Welder (certificate or trade test advantageous).
	Certification to EN ISO 9606 (Welding Qualification Standard).
	Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
	Abrasive Wheel Training
	Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and workplace safety procedures.
	Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical drawings, welding symbols, and blueprints.
	Excellent manual dexterity, steady hand-eye coordination, and keen attention to detail.
	Proficiency with welding tools, grinders, and measuring instruments.
	Good physical stamina with the ability to work in multiple positions (standing, bending, crouching).
	Strong commitment to quality standards and health & safety practices.
	Diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
	Minimum of 2 years of practical welding experience (MIG/MAG).
