PHILMIC LIMITED is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the upkeep of our production facilities. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily maintenance and repair of production line equipment, including washing machines, dryers, ironers, and conveyor systems in an industrial laundry environment. Conduct inspections, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, and carry out preventive maintenance to minimise downtime. Assemble, fit, and test parts and sub-assemblies for machinery, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Assist in implementing maintenance programmes and maintain accurate records of work completed. Collaborate with supervisors and external contractors to resolve issues efficiently. Ensure all work adheres to Irish legislation, including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. Requirements: At least 2-3 years' experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in laundry or similar processing environments. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
