Dominic and Patrick Horgan would like to receive applications for the position of Dairy Farm Assistant at Nobberbeg Farm, Nobber. Co. Meath 
Duties will include all general dairy farm work such as milking, stock herding, tending to livestock, feeding livestock and machinery work. General hours of work are 7:00-9:00 for Morning milking and 15:30-17:30 for evening milking. Other general duties performed between milking times. 
Standard Salary: €34,000.00 for a 39 hour working week.
€17 per hour rate for overtime. 
Paid bank holidays or paid day off in lieu. 
20 days paid annual holiday leave. 
Additional unpaid time off negotiable
Remuneration negotiable depending on experience and performance.
6/1 5/2 general roster. 6 on / 1 off roster during busy periods such as calving season. 
Milking and animal handling experience required.
Applicant will be part of a team of staff on a family run progressive 400-cow, spring calving herd in Nobber, Co. Meath.
There is a large focus on grass, clover and cow health on this farm. There is a 50 point de laval rotary milking parlour with ACR’s, auto wash, auto teat spray and auto drafting.
