Are you passionate about maintaining high standards and ensuring top-quality products? Sillis Green Veg is looking for a Quality Control Officer to join our team. This full-time role is at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets our rigorous quality standards.
Duties to include - 
Perform metal detection, temperature checks, and specification checks to ensure product safety and compliance.
Monitor the production process to guarantee products are in an optimal state before dispatch.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all quality checks performed during the shift.
Work closely with the production team to uphold and improve quality standards.
Act as the quality function on shift, ensuring all processes align with food safety and quality protocols.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
A team player with the ability to work independently and make decisions when needed.
Previous experience in a similar role or within the food industry is an advantage, but not essential—full training will be provided.
Dependable and proactive, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues quickly.
Good organisational skills and the ability to keep accurate records.
