Key Responsibilities • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support. • Travel to and from clients’ homes to deliver care and support services. • Support clients during mealtimes, ensuring appropriate nutrition and hydration. • Build positive relationships with clients and their families, offering emotional support and companionship. • Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in a client’s condition to the nursing team promptly. • Deliver consistently high standards of emotional, social, and personal care. Job Details • Location: Nationwide • Job Title: Home Care Support Worker • Hours: 39 hours per week • Number of Positions: 5 • Salary: €32,691 per annum (approx. €628.67 per week / €16.12 per hour based on 39 hours) Requirements • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent), or an applicable QQI Level 7 qualification. • Minimum 1 year experience as a Home Care Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role (e.g., Care Skills, Care of the Older Person) preferred. • A valid driving licence (Irish/EEA or international) is essential. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care. • Physical stamina to carry out required duties. • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
