The SICAP Enterprise, Employment and Training Officer will play a key role in delivering measurable outcomes under SICAP 2024–2028. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the postholder will provide structured employment supports, enterprise mentoring and targeted training interventions to support participant progression in line with programme targets, governance standards and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Role Title Reporting To: SICAP Enterprise, Employment and Training Officer Social Inclusion Manager Contract Duration One-Year Fixed Term Contract (Continuation post 1 year will be subject to the continuation of available funding) Full-Time – 35 Hours per Week Background Information County Wicklow Community Partnership CLG (CWP) is a Local Development Company delivering a range of social inclusion, enterprise, employment and community development programmes across County Wicklow. CWP has been awarded the contract to deliver the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) 2024–2028 by the Wicklow Local Community Development Committee. SICAP is a nationally funded programme designed to reduce poverty and promote social inclusion through targeted, locally delivered supports for individuals and communities experiencing disadvantage. The programme prioritises those who are most marginalised and least likely to access mainstream services, providing holistic, person-centred interventions and clear progression pathways into education, training, employment and self-employment.
