Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

We run a dinner service every Friday for seniors in the community.  This position is also attached to the MOW service which runs every Tues/Thur.  You would be responsible for preparing a weekly menu, preparing and cooking every Friday.  You would be based in the Social Services Centre in Ballygar where you would help with laundry from the Home Support Staff.  You would also help with the preparation of the MOW service. General light housekeeping duties would also be required.  This is a fun and interesting work environment.   Its a great position to get yourself back into the workforce while being fully supported.  There is a requirement to train/upskill and attend meetings when required.
