We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Operations Manager to oversee and optimise store operations in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth, managing procurement activities, coordinating supply chain operations, overseeing deliveries, and maintaining effective inventory control systems.

This role requires strong commercial awareness, leadership capability, and the ability to improve operational efficiency and profitability across the retail function.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance metrics

Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities

Train, lead, and motivate staff to maximise customer engagement and conversion rates

Implement promotional strategies to enhance sales performance

Procurement & Supplier Management

Develop and manage supplier relationships

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements

Source high-quality products while maintaining cost efficiency

Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely procurement

Supply Chain & Delivery Coordination

Oversee end-to-end retail supply chain operations

Coordinate deliveries and logistics to ensure timely stock availability

Liaise with warehouse and logistics partners to optimise delivery schedules

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

Inventory Management

Maintain optimal stock levels and minimise stock losses

Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation

Implement inventory control systems and reporting procedures

Reduce shrinkage and improve stock turnover rates

Operational Management

Ensure compliance with company policies and Irish retail regulations

Prepare financial and operational performance reports

Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across store operations

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail operations management

Strong background in sales management and revenue optimisation

Proven experience in procurement and supplier negotiation

Knowledge of inventory control systems and supply chain logistics

Strong analytical and leadership skills

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple operations
