Remuneration : 34,000 euro per year Purpose of the Role: To support the farm sections from planning and implementing of the day to day procedures to ensure a maximum health and performance of the pigs on site. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Day to Day Management Duties Daily duties of piglet management Feeding and grading duties Administration of medication for treatment and prevention of disease and post treatment monitoring Animal Production Performance Assist and co-ordinate with the day to day recording and performance to identify avenues to improve health and wellbeing Feed Trials Assist and coordinate new feeding plans and diets and gather the relevant performance data and recommend improvements Experience and Qualifications Experience in a previous farming role beneficial but not necessary Interest in the Pig Industry Full Training will be made available Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
