Biotech Europe is seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Operations Lead to oversee and manage the overall operations of our manufacturing facility in Roscommon, Ireland. This role serves as the senior on-site leader, responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering efficient and cost-effective manufacturing operations aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.

The Site Operations Lead will play a critical role in establishing a strong culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement, while ensuring smooth coordination across production, warehouse, engineering, supply chain, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

Site Leadership & Governance
Act as the primary operational leader for the Ireland facility, providing strategic direction and oversight for all site activities. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, operational governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

Manufacturing & Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations including production, packing, and warehouse activities. Ensure operational efficiency, adherence to production schedules, and achievement of defined performance KPIs.

Production Planning & Supply Chain Coordination
Align manufacturing schedules with demand forecasts and customer orders. Work closely with supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Team Leadership & Talent Development
Lead and develop cross-functional teams across operations, production, and warehouse functions. Drive workforce planning, performance management, and a strong culture of collaboration, ownership, and accountability.

Compliance & Quality Management
Ensure strict adherence to GMP / cGMP standards, quality systems, safety regulations, and internal policies. Maintain continuous readiness for regulatory inspections and customer audits.

Financial Oversight & Cost Optimization
Manage site-level operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and drive cost optimization initiatives. Work with finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and financial performance monitoring.

Infrastructure & Site Administration
Oversee engineering services, facility maintenance, security, and plant infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
