MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for all electrical installation, maintenance, replacement and monitoring of:
	Telecommunication Systems
	Fire Alarms (panels & smoke detectors) throughout the hotel
	Air Conditioning units in hotel and guest rooms.
	Hotel & Guest Room TV’s
	Hotel & Guest Room Onity Door Locks
	Computer Systems
	Security Alarms
	Kitchen electrical equipment
	Lighting throughout the hotel and external grounds
Conduct routine inspection/maintenance of all electrical equipment.
Identify faults and ensure corrective action to prevent maintenance and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Responsible for monitoring ABB system.
Responsible for sourcing quotes for parts, equipment and services with written reply on a time schedule.
To meet and assist Service Contractors if required.
Call-out Service.
Administration and Financial recording for the Department.
To maintaining/replace defective materials and equipment reported to management.
To train Assistants in all areas to ensure cover of the department in your absence
To ensure that standards are maintained in accordance with the departmental SOP.
To ensure that equipment is not abused and is used for its specific purpose only.
To be responsible for your own safety and of those around you.  
To report on duty on time.
To ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, dress, appearance, body language and
conduct is maintained at all times.
To attend all statutory training.
To attend other training sessions as per the departmental training plan or as when required by management.
Maintain a safe hygienic and healthy working environment.
