HGV Mechanic required to work at Derek Considine Car Sales Ltd, located at Ennis Road, Miltown Malbay, County Clare, V95 AFP9. The candidate must have at least six months of experience in a similar role. The main duties include performing visual inspections, test drives, or using specialised equipment to diagnose engine and mechanical faults. The mechanic will remove, repair, and replace defective parts, reassemble and fine-tune systems, and carry out routine maintenance on oil filters, brakes, and other vehicle components. Additionally, the role involves diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical systems, installing additional amenities such as radios or aerials, and servicing air conditioning, heating, and engine cooling systems to ensure the optimal performance of the HGV vehicles.
