In order to work in Ireland a non-EEA National, unless they are exempted, must hold a valid employment permit. Please review the Eligibility and requirements for an employment permit if you are unsure of your eligibility to apply for this vacancy.
Applications are invited for the position of Data & Impact Strategic Lead Citywise Education are interested in hearing from applicants who wish to apply for the above vacant position. This senior position delivers the research, evaluation, and data strategy required to achieve the goals of Citywise Education’s 2026–2028 Strategic Plan. The successful applicant will join the management team of Citywise Education, work alongside the development project manager, and report to the CEO. ______________________________________ About Citywise Education Citywise Education supports young people in West Tallaght through mentoring, peer networks and improved career guidance opportunities. Our aim is to improve progression and retention in further and higher education through development programmes such as STEAMSquare and Fast Track Academy. Our 2026–2028 Strategic Plan targets 70% progression to third level education, opening the Climate, Science and Language Centre, and expanding to new communities including Ballymun, Crumlin, and Clondalkin. Central to this plan is a commitment to a three-year research and evaluation programme and demonstrating value to funders for sustainable growth. ________________________________________ The Role As we prepare to open Ireland's first purpose-built, net-zero education hub (the Climate, Science and Language Centre) we are scaling our programmes across multiple sites, partner schools, and universities. For a community education organisation working with young people facing significant socioeconomic disadvantage, this growth brings both opportunity and obligation: we must be able to evidence what works, for whom, and why. Central to this expansion is the implementation of an online learning platform, which will generate continuous streams of behavioural and academic engagement data at the individual learner level. This combines with our extensive CRM record system for managing programme participation date, mentoring relationships, progression outcomes, and learner demographics (amounting to well over a million event-level records). Integrated with volunteer data, outcome tracking, and external socioeconomic and education datasets, this constitutes a multi-site, multi-source data environment of considerable scale and complexity. This volume and complexity of data cannot be managed or analysed through traditional methods. As a small, mission-driven team focused on frontline delivery, we do not have the specialist analytical capacity to extract meaningful insight from what we are collecting. We require dedicated expertise in data mining, statistical modelling, and quantitative evaluation to consolidate our data infrastructure, build predictive and explanatory models, and produce the rigorous impact evidence that funders and policymakers increasingly expect from organisations seeking to demonstrate and replicate social impact.
