Reddilift Forklift Services is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our growing team in Galway. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in forklift maintenance and repairs and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance on forklifts Interpret manufacturer technical manuals to diagnose faults and perform repairs Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and brake system issues Identify defects, safety concerns, and potential malfunctions Diagnose and repair mast and attachment components Perform brake servicing and tyre/wheel changes Work on LPG, gas, and diesel-powered forklifts Replace defective components using stock parts or order replacement parts for major repairs Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Forklift Mechanic or similar role Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good understanding of health and safety practices Working Hours: 39 hours per week Salary & Benefits: €37,000 – €40,000 per year, depending on experience Overtime pay available On-site parking
