T & A Byrne Autos Limited is seeking a highly skilled Motor Vehicle Mechanic and Repairer with strong expertise in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety, efficiency, and reliability of motor vehicles by accurately identifying faults, carrying out necessary repairs, and performing preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities:
Carry out routine and scheduled vehicle servicing, including oil and filter replacements, brake checks, coolant system servicing, and tyre rotations.
Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment and testing methods.
Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, exhaust systems, and vehicle electrical components.
Conduct thorough inspections to detect wear, damage, or potential faults before they lead to failure.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance, inspections, and repair work completed.
Provide updates on vehicle condition and required services, ensuring supervisors and customers are informed of any issues and progress.
Ensure all maintenance and repair work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Refer to technical manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic software to assist with accurate fault detection and repair procedures.
Keep up to date with developments in automotive technology, diagnostic methods, and repair practices.
Provide guidance to clients on required repairs, preventative maintenance schedules, and best practices for vehicle care. 

Requirement: 
Over 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Experienced in the use of diagnostic tools and standard garage equipment.
Good understanding of modern vehicle systems and technologies.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
Good communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency in an Asian language would be considered an advantage.
