It s for a trainee not a person with years of Experience. Ideally Aged 20 to 35 with an interest in Mechanics, Small Engines Hydraulics Battery and a mechanical interest ie Motor Bikes Cars, Small Electrical repairs, Understanding of Hydraulics Repairing items good at DIY and willing to learn.

Looking for someone willing to learn a wide range of servicing and repairs of equipment we supply but Mainly Holmatro Hydraulic Rescue Equipment.

Trainees Service Technician

We supply and maintain a wide range of Products to the Emergency Services and Industry and are looking to recruit a trainee maintenance person to Service repair our product range of which our main product is (Holmatro) Hydraulic Rescue Equipment and associated products, we also maintain SCBA, Haz Mat Suits and Fire Fighting Equipment Nozzles etc

We have a vacancy for a Trainee Service & Support Technician operating from our Turvey offices and the ability to travel throughout Ireland and support our Service Engineer on site in Fire Servise throughout Ireland.

Essential Job Functions

Willingness to learn with a good mechanical knowledge.

Ability to learn and maintain Small Engines and Hydraulics which will eventually work up to visiting client sites for maintenance, mechanical repair, installation, or replacement of company products.

On site / remote support for users
Customer Breakdown support for our products

Travel to customer at short notice when require with over note stays when maintaining Rescue Tools in Different County Fire Brigades

Workshop repairs and Stores operations.

Maintaining records of visits to client sites including contractors, n recording any issue, resolution, and time spent. Reporting trends in issues or customer suggestions to management
Scheduling and managing contractor support calls

Documenting steps used during training for reference and improvement
Answering client support questions and escalating more complex questions

Other Skills/Abilities
As this position involves interaction with our customers at all levels of management, well developed social skills are a requirement.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, but also exhibit flexibility
