About the Role Foresight are recruiting on behalf of our client, Park Engineering Limited, for two experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join their skilled production team in Stradbally, Co. Laois. Park Engineering is a well-established manufacturing company specialising in high-quality metal fabrication and engineering services, delivering excellence in engineering solutions to clients across Ireland. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Read, interpret and work from CAD drawings and technical specifications • Perform metal fabrication and welding to precise tolerances • Operate fabrication machinery and welding equipment safely and efficiently • Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets required specifications • Work independently with minimal supervision whilst meeting production deadlines • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute positively to the team environment • Maintain tools, equipment and work area in good condition • Report any defects, issues or safety concerns promptly to management Requirements • Fully qualified Metal Fabricator/Welder with relevant certifications • Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding • Proficiency in reading and understanding CAD drawings (essential) • Expertise in various welding techniques and metal fabrication methods • Experience with fabrication machinery and equipment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Safety-focused mindset with a demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices • Ability to work independently on own initiative with minimum supervision • Strong communication and problem-solving skills Desirable Skills • Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments • Knowledge of quality control procedures • Familiarity with ISO standards and procedures • Additional welding certifications
