Oaklodge Nursing Home is currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our dedicated team in our modern residential care facility for older people in East Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Manager with a passion for gerontology and high-quality resident care to take the next step in their clinical leadership career. About the Role The CNM2 / ADON will play a key role in supporting the Director of Nursing in the clinical and operational leadership of the nursing home, ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred care while supporting staff development and maintaining the highest standards in line with HIQA regulations. Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Key Responsibilities Include: Support the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day clinical management of the home Lead and supervise nursing and care staff to ensure high standards of care Promote best practice in infection control, quality assurance and resident safety Support staff development, mentoring and performance management Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and regulatory requirements Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the home Deputise for the Director of Nursing when required Essential Criteria: Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration Minimum 3 years’ experience in care of the older person Previous Clinical Nurse Manager or senior nursing leadership experience preferred.
