We are seeking Dairy Farm Assistants to support the day-to-day management and care of dairy cattle within dairy farming operations in Ireland. The role involves assisting with herd management, maintaining animal health, and supporting the efficient operation of dairy production systems.

Key duties will include:
Assisting with the care and management of dairy cattle
Monitoring herd health, behaviour and general condition
Supporting breeding and herd fertility programmes, including assisting with artificial insemination procedures
Assisting with calving management and calf care
Maintaining animal welfare, hygiene and herd management standards
Assisting with identification and routine herd management procedures
Supporting general dairy farm operations as required
Ensuring compliance with farm health and safety procedures

Applicants should have practical experience working with dairy cattle and supporting herd management activities within a dairy farming environment. The role requires working as part of a dairy farm team to support herd productivity, animal welfare and efficient farm operations.
