About Alley Cuts Alley Cuts Hair & Beauty is a well-established salon located in the heart of Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. We provide professional hair and beauty services in a modern, friendly, and client-focused environment. Our reputation is built on quality service, attention to detail, and dedication to our customers’ satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and organised Buyer to manage product purchasing, supplier relations, and inventory control for our salon operations. 

Role Description The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing hair and beauty products, salon supplies, and related materials. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and experience managing suppliers and stock levels efficiently. Main Duties and Responsibilities Identify, source, and purchase salon products, equipment, and consumables. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers. Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal inventory. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and seek new partnerships when needed. Ensure timely deliveries and manage any supply chain issues. Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records. Work closely with management to align purchasing strategies with salon needs and budgets. 

Essential Requirements Minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or stock management. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy.
