Job Description: Eire Facade Systems IRL, established in 2018, is a rapidly growing façade solutions company with over forty skilled employees delivering major projects across Ireland. We provide full in house services including engineering, shop drawings, material procurement, fabrication, and installation. Our work is driven by strong safety standards, detailed planning, and cost efficient design. Current projects include the New Children’s Hospital, St. Conleth’s Park, Sea Gardens, North Quay and the Pembroke Quarter (Glass Bottle) development. As a Welder at Eire Facade Systems IRL, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in our façade and cladding systems. You will work with a variety of materials and equipment to support the high quality fabrication of units for major construction projects across Ireland, ensuring precision, structural integrity, and compliance with our safety and quality standards. Company EIRE FACADE SYSTEMS Ltd Minimum Annual Remuneration & Benefits: €36,605 per year (based on experience) This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 2 years with a possibility of extension 20 days annual leave Competitive salary Location of Employment: The Ridge, Old Leighlin, Co. Carlow, R93CK20 Hours of Work: 39 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 8 am to 4:45pm (45min break) Friday: 8 am to 3:45pm (45min break) Key Responsibilities: • Weld and fabricate aluminium and steel components for façade and cladding systems. • Interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication details with accuracy. • Assemble frames, brackets, panels, and support structures to required specifications. • Operate workshop machinery, tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently. • Carry out quality checks to ensure all fabricated components meet company and project standards. • Work closely with the fabrication team to meet production targets and project deadlines. • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe workshop environment. • Assist with loading, unloading, and preparing materials for fabrication and site delivery. • Report any defects, material issues, or equipment faults to the Workshop Manager. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, ideally within construction, metalwork, or façade systems. • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication details. • Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding (aluminium and steel). • Experience using workshop tools, machinery, and fabrication equipment. • Understanding of fabrication tolerances, quality standards, and safe working practices. • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain). • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced workshop environment. • Good communication skills and a proactive, safety focused approach.
