Ballycahane farms Ltd is currently seeking to a dairy farm Assistant supporting daily operations of a modern dairy farm

Responsibilities include

Milking cows and maintaining hygiene of milking equipment.

Monitoring animal health.

Assist with livestock feeding ,nutrition,handling and health.

Assist with calving , calf rearing and herd management.

Operating an maintaining farm machinery.

Cleaning an maintaining sheds ,milking parlour and yards.

Adhering to biosecurity and hygiene protocols for animals and milk quality.

Assist in general farm maintenance ,fabrication,fencing and improvements.

Requirements

Proficent in English.

2 years experience on a Dairy farm.

A willingness to learn.

Consciences worker.

Full time position

39 hours a week

€36605 salary per year
