Irish Oxygen Company (part of SOL Group) is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team in Cork.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, compressors, pumps, piping systems and gas skids.
Fitting, alignment and fabrication of mechanical components.
Troubleshooting faults on production machinery.
Working with pneumatic, hydraulic and high-pressure gas systems.
Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety standards (including ATEX and pressurised gases).
Recording work in the CMMS.

Essential Requirements:

Recognised Mechanical Fitter qualification (Apprenticeship / QQI Level 6 or equivalent) or minimum 3–5 years relevant industrial experience.
Proven experience in mechanical fitting and maintenance.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Strong safety awareness, particularly with compressed gases.
Good spoken and written English.
Flexibility for shift work and occasional call-outs.
