Job Title: Car Mechanic (Qualified) / 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Company: D Canny Garage Ltd Location: 11A South Terrace, Cork, Ireland Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Work Location: In person Salary / Pay Up to €37,492.52 per year (depending on experience and qualifications) Weekly salary (approx.): up to €721.01 Hourly rate (approx.): up to €18.02 Job Description D Canny Garage Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Car Mechanic (qualified) or a 3rd/4th year Apprentice to join our dynamic team in Cork. The successful candidate will carry out diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs across a varied fleet of vehicles while ensuring excellent quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform vehicle inspections, assessments and accurate diagnosis of faults. Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars, SUVs, vans and jeeps. Complete routine servicing and repairs ranging from minor issues to major mechanical work. Ensure all work is completed to required quality standards and in line with health & safety practices. Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment and follow good housekeeping procedures. Undertake additional mechanical duties as required. Requirements Qualified Car Mechanic (certified) or 3rd/4th year Apprentice. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems. Full Category B driving licence. Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (for qualified candidates). Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Eligibility to work in the EU (with a current visa/permission).
