The Hodson Bay Hotel is currently seeking an Night Manager to come and join our friendly Nights team.

The successful candidate will manage and take responsibility for the Hotel at Night in the absence of the Night Manager.

10 hour work shift
4 Nights a week

A little bit about you:

You have the desire and interest in learning and developing your skills
Flexibility with availability for working times and days.
You have a positive 'can do' attitude.
Previous Assistant Night Manager/Night Supervisor experience is essential for this role.
Previous Bar/Reception experience is desired.
Must be computer literate - knowledge of Front Desk Systems an advantage, however you will receive training on Opera.
Fluent level of written and spoken English is essential.

Main Duties:

To manage and take responsibility for the hotel at night in the absence of the Night Manager
To carry out reception duties, i.e. check in, check out
To be responsible for the preparation and setting up of all Function and Meeting rooms
To perform security and fire checks at regular intervals
To ensure the highest levels of customer care are practiced at all times
To deal with complaints in a courteous and efficient manner and inform the Senior Manager
To manage all late drink orders
To maintain and monitor the cleanliness standards of the hotel.
To ensure the cleanliness of areas and presentation of the front of house areas is kept at the highest order.
